HOW TO PREVENT SWEATY FEET

These are some of the most FAQ about sweaty feet:

What makes feet sweat?

Sweat glands are located unevenly all over the epidermis. A great number of them are located on the soles of our feet, and some people have so many that they cause serious problems which sometimes even affect coexistence.

What produces the unpleasant smell?

When feet are enclosed in shoes or trainers, the lack of ventilation causes sweat and dampness. Dampness is an excellent medium for bacteria and fungus to decompose and cause unpleasant odours. The volatile substances that are released when we sweat decompose as they come into contact with the micro-organisms in the skin flora and cause unpleasant smells. The smell is stronger depending on the amount of sweat.

Feet smell more when wearing trainers or closed shoes with rubber or synthetic soles and socks made of artificial fibres. Feet often SMELL on the sole and between toes. Therefore, good hygiene is essential. You should also always remember to dry the skin between your toes completely and use shoes that allow your feet to breathe and wear socks made of natural fibres.

Shoes should also be ventilated and an appropriate FOOT AND SHOE DEODORANT should be used. We recommend our PODOLIGHT DERMO DEODORANT FOR FEET AND SHOES.

How to stop feet sweating?

Ensuring rigorous hygiene is not always enough. It is important to resort to specific products that control the bacteria that cause the unpleasant “aroma”. Furthermore, it is important to follow our recommendations for the use of our PODOLIGHT DERMO DEODORANT FOR FEET AND SHOES.
